Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Dracut, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The Dracut Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from General Contractors for the Asphalt Walkway Replacement at the 971 Mammoth Road Housing Development for the Dracut Housing Authority in Dracut, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by Raymond T. Guertin Architect. The Project consists of: Replacement of approximately 4,800 square feet of asphalt walkways at the 971 Mammoth Road Housing Development, as shown on the drawings, including all related work. Alternate No. 1 - Replacement of approximately 835 square feet of asphalt walkways at the 971 Mammoth Road Housing Development, as shown on the drawings, including all related work. The work is estimated to cost $ 62,800.00 (Base Bid: $53,400.00 - Alternates: $9,400.00) Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.30 39M and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 26 to 27H inclusive and Federal Davis Bacon wage rates. Pursuant to HUD Public Housing Development Rule, 24 CFR ch. IX 941.503(d), whenever any prevailing wage rate determined under Massachusetts law exceeds the corresponding federally determined wage rate on this project, the Massachusetts rate is inapplicable to the contract and shall not be enforced against the contractor or any subcontractor with respect to employees engaged under the contract. General bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates) and made payable to the Dracut Housing Authority. General bidders must agree to contract with minority and women business enterprises as certified by the Supplier Diversity Office (SDO), formerly known as SOMWBA. The combined participation goal reserved for such enterprises shall not be less than 10.4% of the final contract price. The work to be performed under this contract is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 (12 U.S.C. 1701u). As well as additional HUD forms, Chapter 14, Equal Employment requirements, all information is provided in the project manual. The combined participation goal reserved for such enterprises shall not be less than 10.4% of the final contract price.
