This request for qualifications is for planning purposes and is not a request for quote or proposal. The Owner is seeking to identify interested contractors from whom to solicit quotes for construction. No basis for claim against the County shall arise as a result of a response to this request for qualifications. The Owner will not pay for information or comments provided and will not recognize any cost associated with the submission of responses or comments. The County is seeking a contractor for selectively demolishing existing structures onsite to facilitate the work, excavation of existing embankment material, installing, modifying, and protecting instrumentation, dewatering to facilitate dry excavations, and modifying the existing spillway including lowering the auxiliary spillway crests and constructing baffled chute and riprap discharge channel. The anticipated construction fee for the project may be as great as $10,000,000 depending on the scope of work in the bidding documents. Forest Lake Level Authority Board (Owner) is seeking qualified construction contractors for the Forest Lake Dam Spillway Stabilization Project.
