**As of February 5, 2024, project was awarded to Brownie’s Septic & Plumbing, Dixie Septic Tank of Orange City and RCM Utilities but awarded amount is not available.** City of Orange City, Florida is accepting sealed bids from qualified licensed Contractors to provide all labor, material, equipment, supervision and incidentals necessary to provide septic tank elimination and sewer connection for Orange City in accordance with the Scope of Work and Technical The City intends to select and award to a minimum of 3 Contractors who must be a State of Florida Certified Plumbing Contractor and State of Florida Certified Septic Tank Contractor or a State of Florida Certified Plumbing Contractor certified under 489.105(3)(m), F.S., who is eligible under s.489.553(5)(a) and (b). Contractor shall be registered with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation prior to bid submission. There are some areas of Work under this Scope which will require a State of Florida General Contractor City of Orange City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals in part or in whole, and to waive any informality in bids received, as may be in the best interest of the City. In accordance with the American Disabilities Act and Section 286.26, Florida Statutes, persons with disabilities needing a special accommodation or an interpreter to participate in any proceedings, should contact the Purchasing Administrator at 386-775-5440 for assistance, at least two (2) business days before any meeting date.
