**As of February 19, 2024, project was awarded to Richall Electric, awarded amount is $190,598.88.** The work to be performed includes furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the installation of metal conduit throughout the existing Main Jail to support low voltage wiring in the facility located at 1077 Civic Center Blvd, Yuba City. The work includes the following: installation of conduit through existing seismic joint and fire separation joints; installing new conduit and required hangars as indicated on the plans; coring of CMU block walls for conduit pathways. Each bid must also be accompanied by security in the form of a bid bond issued by a corporate surety, a certified check, or cashier's check payable to the County of Sutter, or cash for an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate sum of the bid. The successful bidder shall be required to execute a Material and Labor Payment Bond and Performance Bond, issued by a corporate surety, in conformance with the requirements set forth in the contract documents, each for not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Pursuant to California Contract Code Section 22300, the contractor may, at its own expense, substitute securities for any money being withheld by the County to ensure performance under this contract. Complete the work within 30 working days. There is a mandatory pre-bid meeting scheduled for this project, since interested contractors must view the Jail to understand the scope of work and relevant constraints.
