Bids will be received by the Township of Berlin for Solid Waste Disposal Services for the Berlin Township, within the County of Camden, State of New Jersey Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L.1975, c127 (N.J.A.C.17:27), Public Contracts Law N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et. seq. and all other applicable Federal, State, County and municipal laws, rules and regulations. Digital versions of the Specifications will NOT be provided to any interested party. All bidders are responsible for obtaining complete bid documentation from the Berlin Township Clerk at the above-listed address. In the event of any inconsistencies between the advertisement, as published, and the bid documentation, the bid documentation shall control. Bids must be made on the standard proposal forms in the manner designated therein and required by the specifications Bids accompanied by a bid bond, cashiers check or certified check for not less than 10% of the amount, said amount determined by multiplying the bid unit price for Option No. 1, Item Number 1 by 2,150 tons, not to exceed $20,000, payable to the Township of Berlin. The proposal shall be accompanied by all of the forms provided in the Proposal Section of the Specification or to be submitted by the Bidder and listed in the Checklist. Bidders must comply with the State of New Jersey Certificate of Registration as required by the Public Works Contractor Registration Act and State of New Jersey Business Registration Certificate issued by the State of New Jersey Division of Revenue as required by N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 and Public Law 2004, Chapter 57. The Township of Berlin reserves the right to reject any and all (a) if the Proposal forms have not been properly executed; (b) if the prices are obviously unbalanced; (c) if acknowledgement of the addenda of the specifications or other contract documents are not submitted with the bid, (d) if the Consent of Surety is not properly submitted, and (e) if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Township of Berlin.
