Renovation of a mixed-use development in Westminster, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of December 27, 2023 the project was awarded to American Engergy Restaurant but the awarded amount is not available. It is the intent of this Invitation to Bid to establish a contract to furnish and install thirty-one (31) Stainless Steel Tables for Foodservice at fourteen (14) schools. Carroll County Public Schools, herein called CCPS, is contracting for all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment, necessary to furnish, deliver, and install thirty-one (31) Stainless Steel Tables for Foodservice at fourteen (14) schools in accordance with the attached terms, specifications, and general conditions. The BOECC reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bids received whenever such rejections or waivers are in the best interest of CCPS. CCPS shall be the sole judge as to whether items meet specifications or are an approved equal. The BOECC also reserves the right to reject the bid of a bidder who has previously failed to perform properly or complete on time contracts of a similar nature, or the bid of a bidder which investigation shows is not in a position to perform the contract. A mandatory original is to be received no later than December 1, 2023, at 11:00 AM. Failure to deliver a hard copy within the allotted time frame may result in the rejection of a bidder's proposal, even if the electronic price submittal was received on time. Question Deadline 11/20/2023 The Contractor shall purchase and maintain such insurance as will protect him, and the BOECC from claims which may arise out of or result from the Contractor's operations under the contract, whether such operations be by himself or by any subcontractor, lower tier contractor or by anyone directly or indirectly employed by any of them, or by anyone for whom acts any of them may be liable. A pre-bid meeting / site inspection is not scheduled but bidders may visit the sites through a scheduled appointment with Karen Sarno, krsarno@carrollk12.org. Questions and inquiries are to be directed to the Purchasing Office, Carroll County Public Schools, 125 North Court Street, Westminster, Maryland 21157. All questions are to be in writing and emailed to Cindy Reilly, crreill@carrollk12.org and Jenny Yingling, jlyingl@carrollk12.org and received no later than November 20, 2023. Such questions(s) will be reviewed and where information sought is not clearly indicated or specified, the Purchasing Office will issue clarification via a written addendum which will then become a part of the bid and contract.
