Blacktop and Stone The Carroll County Office of Procurement is requesting your written quotations on the various blacktop and/or stone materials you have available to sell on as-needed basis to the Carroll County Bureau of Roads Operations. Prices are to be quoted on a per ton basis where applicable and will be picked up by the Bureau of Roads Operations. Quantities are not guaranteed. Multiple vendors maybe selected based on pricing and availability of materials for blacktop and stone separately. CONTRACT TERM The term of this agreement shall be one (1) year, with four (4), one-year renewal options under the same terms and conditions, pending fiscal availability of funds and vendors satisfactory performance. AWARD The Office of Procurement reserves the right to award this bid in part or its entirety to the most responsive and responsible bidder that meets or exceeds all the specifications in this document and is in the best interest of the County. Vendors' past performance on previous work provided to the County will be taken into consideration when awarding this bid. QUESTIONS OR CLARIFICATIONS Bidders must submit their questions through the Public Purchase web site, using the instructions below. Questions must be submitted five (5) days prior to bid opening. PROOF OF INSURANCE The successful bidder must furnish certification of adequate liability insurance protection. This shall include insurance coverage for employees working on County property. Proof of insurance shall be submitted within seven (7) days of award of this bid. Insurance requirements can be found in the document General Information for Bidders.
