2024 Herbert Walkup Pipeline Replacement Project License Requirements Class A Contractor License Bid Bond 10.00% Payment Bond 100.00% Performance Bond 100.00% Question Deadline 12/06/2023 at 4:00 PM PT Questions or comments regarding this project must be submitted electronically via our electronic bidding system and must be received by the District. Responses from the District will be communicated via the electronic bidding system. The work to be performed consists of the installation of approximately 9,400 linear feet of 8-inch water main, 130 water services, 16 fire hydrants, 9 water main tie-ins, replacement of approximately 1,860 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer main in place between existing manholes, reconnection of 10 sanitary sewer laterals, and performance of traffic and erosion control, abandonment of existing water and sewer facilities, site restoration, and asphalt concrete paving. Work is anticipated to occur in 2024. The South Tahoe Public Utility District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid, and to make awards to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder in the best interest of the District.
