Sealed proposals will be received for the construction of Transit Shed No. 6 Loading Dock Expansion. The State reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals. NCSPA PROJECT NO. 10631 -Phased demolition and construction - Select demolition of existing asphalt pavement and portion of southern wall at Transit Shed No. 6 to facilitate installation of the new loading dock and overhead coiling doors -Removal and reinstallation of existing dock levelers (8 total) -Construction of new cast-in-place concrete loading dock with overhead coiling doors, steel-framed canopy, and all associated site work -Installation of new dock levelers (4 total) with all associated electrical work Phase A: West portion of the new cast-in-place concrete loading dock with steel-framed canopy to include relocation of four (4) existing dock levelers, installation of two (2) new dock levelers, one (1) overhead coiling door, one (1) set of access stairs, and all associated electrical work. Phase B: East portion of the new cast-in-place concrete loading dock with steel-framed canopy to include relocation of four (4) existing dock levelers, installation of two (2) new dock levelers, one (1) overhead coiling door, one (1) set of access stairs, and all associated electrical work. The project site is located on the east side of the Cape Fear River approximately 2.5 nautical miles south of the city of Wilmington, North Carolina.
