Renovation of a municipal facility in Circleville, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 1,463-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility.

The Work includes all trades, equipment and furnishings as indicated herein, for the interior renovation, exterior finishes, and all the supplemental work associated for a complete project. A Renovation of an Existing Building for the City of Circleville" consisting of 1,463 sq. ft. at 114 West Franklin Street Circleville, Ohio 43113. Document Notes : Plans and specifications will be shipped upon receipt of payment for such documents. Checks to be made payable to Ankrom Architects, LLC. Shipping and Handling fees are the responsibility of the purchaser. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee meeting requirements of section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code (ORC). Said Guarantee may be in the form of a bond (ORC 153.571)for one hundred percent (100%) of the bid amount or a certified check, cashiers check, or a letter of credit of at least ten percent (10%) of the bid amount in accordance with ORC 153.54. The bid will be for all work as shown in Drawings and Specifications and related work required for project completion. The successful bidder should be prepared to enter immediately into a contract to perform the work required and be prepared to complete the work by May 17th,2024. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a contract guarantee, in a form acceptable to the City of Circleville, for the required work. The successful bidder shall furnish the Owner with certificates of insurance in amounts as specified in the General Conditions of the Construction Agreement or other amounts as required by law, whichever is greater. All bidders must examine the Drawings, read the Specifications, and visit the site of this project to fully investigate the extent and quality of the work required. Bidders shall be familiar with the location and access to construction site, availability of utilities, the condition of the site and any existing construction, and governing regulatory agencies and permit processes. Questions concerning this project should be directed to John R. Ankrom at 740-474-7816,Monday through Friday between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm. No questions will be taken during any other time. WAGE RATES Each employee employed by the CONTRACTOR or any SUBCONTRACTOR and engaged in work on the project under this contract shall be paid the prevailing wage established by the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of Ohio, as provided by the appropriate sections of the Ohio Revised Code. This shall occur regardless of any contractual relationship which may be said to exist between the CONTRACTOR or any SUBCONTRACTOR and such employee. The Architect's estimate of cost for the project is as follows: General Trades $212,500.00 The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, and to accept any bid which it deems most favorable.
