DHHL is seeking grant proposals state wide to support existing projects, programs, and services for existing homestead communities or improvements to existing community facilities located on Hawaiian Home Lands to promote healthy and thriving native Hawaiian homestead communities. The grant proposals may cover a broad range of areas, including but not limited to DHHL General Plan policy topics: land use and water resources, infrastructure, economic development, healthy communities, housing, and / or food production. February 20 - 21, 2024 Award recommendation and Hawaiian Homes Commission's approval. January 3, 2024, 4:00 PM, HST Pre-opening modification and withdrawal notice to DHHL shall be accepted at: DHHL.GrantsRFP@hawaii.gov Applicants are encouraged to submit questions pertaining to this RFP. Questions must be submitted to the Contract Administrator via email at DHHL.Grants@hawaii.gov no later than November 17, 2023, 4:00 P.M., HST as identified. November 24, 2022, 4:00 PM, HST DHHL's response to questions. Responses will be posted at electronically. DHHL reserves the right to consider as acceptable and responsive only those proposals submitted in accordance with all requirements set forth in this RFP and which demonstrate an understanding of the problems involved and comply with the service specifications. Any proposal offering any other set of terms and conditions contradictory to those included in this RFP may be rejected without further notice.
