Scope of Work The Hawaii Department of Health State Laboratories Division (Sld) is Requesting a Price Quotation for the Following Work on Baker, Labconco, and Nuaire Bscs: 1) Baker Bsc Serial Number 120081 in Room 2313. A) Disconnect Canopy/thimble Connection From Bsc. B) Disconnect Thimble Connection From Exhaust Duct Work. C) Install Exhaust Grill Where Thimble Connection Was Removed From the Buildings Exhaust Ductwork. D) Replace Glass Bsc Sash With New Baker Bsc Sash and Bring Bsc Back to Normal Working Order. E) Certify Bsc. 2) Baker Bsc Serial Number 112108. A) Gas Decontaminate Bsc. B) Purchase, Ship, and Replace the Supply and Exhaust Hepa Filters. C) Certify Bsc. 3) Nuaire Bsc Serial Number 57309 Abn A) Gas Decontaminate Bsc. B) Disconnect Bsc From Ductwork C) Dispose of Bsc. D) Install Exhaust Grill Where Previously Connected to the Ductwork. 4) Nuaire Bsc Serial Number 57307 Abn E) Gas Decontaminate Bsc. F) Disconnect Bsc From Ductwork G) Dispose of Bsc. H) Install Exhaust Grill Where Previously Connected to the Ductwork. 5) Move Labconco Bsc Located in Lobby to Nearby Room. 2. Other Informantion and Requirements 1) Please See Attached List for Bsc Information and Summary of Work. 2) Bsc Shall Be Certified and Adjusted to the National Sanitation Foundation (Nsf) International Standard 49. 3) All Replacement Parts and Materials Shall Be New and From the Original Manufacturer or Specified by the Manufacturer as Suitable Replacements. 4) All Repair Work Shall Be Done in Accordance With the Original Equipment Manufacture's Recommendations. 5) Replacement Exhaust Grilles Shall Be, Made of Aluminum, and Appropriately Sized. 6) Contractor is Responsible for Disposal of All Waste and Debris Generated From the Work. Area Around the Bscs Shall Be Left Neat and Clean Once Work is Completed. Disposal of All Waste Must Be Disposed of in a Manner That is Consistent With Federal, State, and Local Laws. 3. Schedule The State Laboratories Division Building Opened in 1995 and Operates During the Hours of 7:45 a.m. To 4:30 P.m. Monday to Friday and is Closed on the Weekends and State Holidays. Access to the Location of the Trash Bins is From the Hours of 6:30 Am to 5 Pm. Please Submit Your Price Quotation by 2 Pm on November 17, 2023.
