The District shall select, via a two-step method, Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Construction Manager at Risk for Replacement of Prairie View Elementary School and New Early Childhood Center #4. The selected Construction Manager is to assist the District and selected Architect with cost evaluations (value engineering), constructability reviews and scheduling during the construction documents phase, and to oversee the progress of the project, documentation, verification and implementation of all subcontractors. If the Construction Manager at Risk elects to perform any portion of the scope of work with its own forces, that portion of work shall follow the same proposal procedures as established for all sub-contracted work.
