Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Elmhurst, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Work Generally Includes: Removals, Grading, Site Work, Installation of an Underdrain System, Concrete Paving, Playground and Fitness Equipment Installation, Poured in Place Surfacing, Site Furniture, Shelter Installation, Landscaping, Lawn Seeding, Installation of a Rain Garden and Ancillary Work. Specifications Require the Submittal of a 10% Bid Surety With the Proposal. In Addition, the Successful Contractor(S) Must Be Able to Provide a Satisfactory Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Required Proof of Insurance Following the Award of a Contract. All Contracts for Work Herein Are Subject to All City Rules and Regulations. This is a Prevailing Wage Schedule Project and the Contractor and All Subcontractors Are Required to Pay the Prevailing Wage for Dupage/cook Counties for the Life of the Project and Are Responsible for Keeping Up With Any Changes. Certified Payroll is Required on This Project by Both General and Subcontractors. All Bids Will Remain Firm for 60 Days After the Bid Opening. The Elmhurst Park District Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids, to Waive Informalities on a Bid, and to Accept the Lowest Responsible Bid That Serves the Best Interests of the Park District. Minority Business Firms Are Encouraged to Submit Bids. Successful Contract Bidders Are Also Encouraged to Utilize Minority Businesses as Sub-contractors for Supplies, Equipment, Services, and Construction.
