All bids must be submitted in sealed envelope, addressed to the City of Lake Alfred, and plainly marked on the outside Sealed Bid, Generator purchase. It is the responsibility of the bidder to deliver his or her bid to the City of Lake Alfred's City Administration, 155 E Pomelo St, Lake Alfred on or before the specified date and time. The bid opening will be at 2 pm on December 5 th at 485 W Haines Blvd, Lake Alfred. Bidders are required to submit a completed Non-Collusion Affidavit of Prime Bidder Form and Sworn Statement on Public Entity Crimes Form with the sealed bid. A W-9 form must be attached to the bid when returned by the responding vendor. Payment will be rendered to the name and ID appearing on the W-9. The City reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids found to be non-responsive, vague, nonconforming, or irresponsible. The City reserves the right to waive informalities, to re-advertise, and to accept the bid in the best interest of the City, not necessarily the lowest bid. The City also reserves the right to request any additional information after the bids are received to determine bidder qualifications. The failure to provide a response in the manner prescribed herein shall be grounds for disqualification. Public Records- It is the policy of this state that all state, county, and municipal records are open for personal inspection and copying by any person. Providing access to public records are open for personal inspection and copying by any person. Providing access to public records is a duty of each governmental agency. As such, do not submit any documents that you do not want made public.
