MnDOT requests letters of interest for planning efforts to reflect current and future transportation system needs and to identify a set of recommendations from which to base future transportation investments. The key question of this project is if TH 55 between CR 42 and US 52 represents redundancy in the transportation system and whether Highway 55 should be re-aligned from its west junction with CR 42 to follow current CR 42 to its interchange with US 52. This study will complete planning-level analyses considering local agency and business input to evaluate impacts of realignment. The goal of this project is to a final recommendation on the potential realignment of TH 55 from its west junction with CR 42 to follow current CR 42 to its interchange with US 52. The final report will document the work completed, highlighting this recommendation.
