23SE SGL 217 Cutting Project. The work may begin after the PO is received and a performance bond is provided. The work must be completed by May 31, 2024. SCOPE OF WORK: A. The Pennsylvania Game Commission, Southeast Region Forestry Division, requires the services of an Operator to cut trees on 37 acres. Services shall include, but are not limited to, the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment, tools, superintendence, miscellaneous items, and performing all work necessary to complete the project to the satisfaction of and subject to the approval of the Commission. SGL #217 - Lehigh County, Heidelberg Township: Cut approximately 21,952 trees on 37 acres. Block 1: cut all birch, red maple, sassafras, yellow poplar, and black gum trees less than 11" DBH. Block 2: Cut all trees within the harvest patches except conifer, snags, and those marked with red paint. Block 2 is 68 acres, but the harvest patches total only 20.1 acres. Do not cut any blue or yellow painted boundary trees. Both blocks are adjacent to a drivable road.
