Provide Evaluation services for ADA compliance in 6 County owned facilities, give recommendations for possible work for County consideration, to meet current ADA requirements, where applicable or needed. Restrooms slated for evaluation consist of both public and employee facilities. Other specifics as identified in the Scope of Work further explained within this RFP. Evaluate six (6) county-owned properties that are open to the public, for ADA compliance within their respective public and employee restroom facilities. Provide a formal "findings" document to list all deficiencies and/or recommendations to the County. The properties are listed below with approximate total building square footages, the approximate count of restrooms being evaluated, and year built/remodeled. Location Addresses - Story County, Justice Center - 1315 South B Ave. Nevada, IA - Built in 2002 49,000 square feet (not including jail facilities) 6 public restrooms, 12 employee restrooms, 5 jury room restrooms Story County, Administration - 900 6th Street Nevada, IA - Built in 1966 major remodel in 2004. 48,000 square feet, 8 public restrooms. Story County, Engineers Building - 837 N Ave. Nevada, IA - Built in 1996 3,500 square feet, 2 employee restrooms Story County, Animal Control and Shelter - 975 W. Lincoln Highway Nevada, IA - Built in 2002/2005 major remodel in 2018 9,000 square feet, 1 public restroom, 2 employee restrooms Story County, Human Services Center - 126 S. Kellogg Ames, IA - Built in 1998 minor remodel in 2011 30,000 square feet, 6 public restrooms Story County, Conservation Center - 56461 180th St. Ames, IA - Built in 1990 6,700 square feet, 2 public restrooms 1. PROVIDE EVALUTION through a series of on-site consultations with Story County Facilities Management, Board of Supervisors, and other pertinent parties. 2. PREPARE FINAL FINDINGS through a documented report of deficiencies with potential remedies and considerations. Have findings broken down by site address and individual rooms.
