As of January 3, 2024, an engineer has been selected and this project is in the design phase. It is anticipated bidding will commence in summer 2024, with construction following. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: For professional services in support of the Wyoming State Hospital 23 Vacated Buildings and 11 Tunnel Segments, Hazardous Materials Abatement Design Coordination, Bidding and Bid Evaluation Assistance, Construction Administration during the Abatement and Abatement closeout documents, located at Evanston, WY. Project Description: This project will consist of creating abatement documents, utilizing a hazardous materials survey and inspection report that was prepared in 2022 and implementing it in the following way: o Provide bid documents for the lawful abatement of all hazardous materials and working with the owner contracted, demolition design professional, to incorporate the hazardous materials report and hazardous materials abatement documents with the demolition design documents. o Assist the demolition design professional with preparing the bid documents, hazardous materials abatement cost estimating, bidding and bid evaluations. o Provide construction administration during the abatement to assure the abatement contractor is complying with the project plans, specifications and all regulations, codes and requirements. o Provide all closeout documents to all of the authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ) and other documents for the lawful abatement.
