The Board of Education of Wicomico County will receive sealed bids for Asbestos Abatement Job Order Contract work at various WCBOE sites in Wicomico County, Maryland. Work consists of HVAC/Mechanical projects as needed during the term of this contract. This is a multi-step Proposal (Bid). Step 1 is Technical Proposals. Step 2 Is Price Proposals. The Technical Proposal and Price Proposal are to be in separate sealed envelopes and are due at the same time as indicated above. There will be a Pre-bid Conference held. Certified Minority Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation notice. Brief Description of Work: Work consists of various HVAC / Mechanical related work as needed. No Bidder may withdraw their bid within ninety (90) days after the date and time of bid opening. The Board of Education may extend the time and place for the opening of bids by facsimile notification to those known general contract bidders who have obtained copies of the plans and specifications through the Printer. The Board of Education of Wicomico County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive formalities, informalities, and technicalities therein. The Board reserves the right to contact a Bidder for clarifications and may, at its sole discretion, allow a Bidder to correct any and all formalities, informalities and technicalities in the best interest of the Board. The Board reserves the right to utilize existing Board or Cooperative contracts in the best interest of the Board. The Board reserves the right to evaluate existing Board or Cooperative contracts as Bids in the best interest of the Board.
