Truitt Street Community Center HVAC Installation 1. Furnish and install (2) Carrier 10-ton package AC units with gas heat 2. Duct Work: I. Exterior supply and return air sheet metal duct work from new units will be insulated and weather sealed. Ducts will be run exposed on exterior of building. II. New un-insulated sheet metal spiral supply air ducts will be installed above drop ceilings, and hung below drywall ceilings. III. Space above drop ceilings will be used as plenum for return air back to new equipment. IV. Grills and diffusers furnished and installed 3. Zone Control I. Nine (9) Thermostatically controlled zone dampers will be provided for individual space temperature control and will be integrated with new sheet metal duct system. One new thermostat will be provided for each zone. Control work includes all necessary low voltage control wiring routed to new zone control panel located in front closet 4. Exhaust I. (3) New inline exhaust fans will be provided and ducted through south wall. Sheet metal exhaust air will be installed above drop ceilings in bathrooms and kitchen. 5. Gas Piping I. Coordinate with Chesapeake Utilities for routing and sizing of gas piping needed to serve new HVAC units. Provide necessary gas piping from new gas meter to equipment. 6. Additional requirements: I.
