The purpose of this Standing Offer Agreement is to retain professional consultant services to conduct Airfield Pavement Materials Engineering Technical Services in support of the Department of National Defence (DND) airfield engineering program and projects at various site locations across Canada. The SOA will augment the airfield pavement engineering group located at 1 Canadian Air Division (1CAD) by providing specialized airfield materials engineering technical services for various runway, taxiway, and apron construction and rehabilitation projects. The types of projects the consultant can be expected to be involved with may include, but are not limited to, the following: -Airfield structural studies -Forensic investigation of pavement failures -Review of DND's standard specifications -Technical advice on projects designed in-house by DND -Research studies on pavement related issues or airfield greening options It is anticipated that this solicitation will be initiated in November 2023. This is conditional on receiving approval to proceed by the Department of National Defence (DND). The estimated contract period will be 36 month(s).
