Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Edmonton, Alberta. Working plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The Southeast Transit Garage is planned to be an up to 430 forty-foot equivalent emissions neutral facility able to store and maintain a fully zero emission fleet. The garage is planned to include a mix of zero emission technology, including both Fuel Cell Electric Buses (FCEB) and Battery Electric Buses (BEB). The final determination of Zero Emission Bus (ZEB) technology will be informed by results from the Citys current BEB deployment and FCEB pilot project and will be confirmed during the preconstruction stage of the project. TIMELINE: A construction manager has been engaged. Project is currently in the final stages of schematic design. Scope of work and schedules for detailed design and construction are subject to funding approvals. Further update in 2026.
