Port Huron Area School District will accept sealed proposals for the HVAC replacements for McKinley Administration Building, 2720 Riverside Drive, Port Huron, MI 48060, Crull Elementary School, 2615 Hancock Street, Port Huron, MI 48060, Indian Woods Elementary School, 4975 West Water, Kimball, MI 48074, Garfield Elementary School, 1221 Garfield, Port Huron, MI 48060, Port Huron High School, 2215 Court Street, Port Huron, MI 48060, Operations, 4035 Dove Road, Port Huron, MI 48060. Each proposal must be accompanied by an acceptable bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or standard form bid bond, made payable to the Port Huron Area School District in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid submitted. Failure of any accepted Bidder to enter into contract for the work will cause forfeit of his bid security. After contracts for the work have been signed, all bid securities will be returned. The winning bidder will have to furnish performance and labor & material payment bonds, the cost of which should be included in the project bid. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularity or informality in bids, to reject any and/or all bids, in whole or in part, or to award any Contract to other than the low bidder, should it be deemed in the Owner's best interest to do so. Work at all buildings shall begin in June 2024 (after school is out) and projects must be completed August 2024 (before school begins) and certified. The timing of any necessary significant power outages to the facility shall be pre-approved by the school district.
