Site work and renovation of a transportation facility in Montreal, Quebec. Design plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
Upgrades to the Gare station located at 300 Ogilvy Avenue in Montreal. The scope of work includes improvement of the accessibility parameters of the facility and provides for the creation of a platform-train link to facilitate boarding the train for people with reduced mobility, improvement of the information equipments of the station, improvement of intelligent transportation systems (ITS) and information technology (IT) service equipment by the addition of ITS standardized boxes, speakers, surveillance cameras and other equipment. TIMELINE: The owner has awarded professional consultants for the project design and construction work monitoring. Preliminary planning is underway. Working drawings are expected to begin in mid-summer 2024. Owner expects that the project design will be completed in September 2024 to issue a tender for the general contractor in mid-/late fall of the same year.
