Deadline for Questions/Inquiries Thursday, November 9, 2023 by 2:30 p.m The scope of the referenced project requires fabrication of customer equipment identified as the environmentally-controlled enclosure (ECE). This equipment is utilized for the conditioning of concrete specimens at different temperature and humidity environments with micro-environments subject to wetting and chemical applications. The equipment is comprised of two main portions: a primary enclosure with supporting pad and cube (specimen) enclosure cabinets. The primary enclosure includes features to maintain a constant temperature and humidity. The supporting pad is integral with the primary enclosure and includes a rail system for conveyance of the cube enclosure cabinets. The supporting concrete pad also provides isolation of the enclosure from the ground. The individual cube enclosure cabinets are used to maintain a micro-environment with further variability relative to the primary enclosure conditioned environment The University of Texas at Austin is seeking vendors to fabricate a 28' x 75' slab. The slab must be complete by December 8, 2023.
