The scope of this project will be to provide all the labor, materials, tools and equipment, insurance, and bonding necessary, but not limited to completing the Sandy City 9392 S 500 W House Demo Project, located on the NW corner of 9400 S 500 W. The work includes the full demolition and removal of the existing structure - home, foundation, footings, and grading of the site. Also included are stubbing the existing utilities behind the future back of walk. All these items are described further in the project plans and specifications. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond payable to Sandy City (OWNER) for five percent of the total bid amount. A copy of the bid bond must be included with your bid submission. Following the bid opening the awarded contractor must provide a hard copy of the bid bond. When the contract is executed, and OWNER receives the performance, payment and all other required bonds, the bid bond of the successful bidder will be returned. Question Deadline: 11/10/2023 10:00 AM (MT) All inquiries relative to this request for bid (IFB) must be submitted on electronically and will be answered through electronically up to the Q & A deadline. A performance and payment bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract amount, with a corporate surety approved by owner, will be required to ensure faithful performance of the contract. The duration of the performance and payment bond shall be one year after the anticipated completion date of the project.
