Renovation of a water / sewer project in Jacksonville, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
As of January 19,2024, all bids exceeded the budget. No definite date for the rebid. Buccaneer Lift Station Floodproofing All questions should be submitted via email ONLY to Patty Drake at pdrake@coab.us. The deadline for all questions is 4:00 PM, Thursday, December 7th, 2023. Questions and answers will be posted to the Citys site at www.coab.us/bids The project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials to furnish and install flood protection measures at the Buccaneer Lift Station according to the bid specifications. It is a straight forward project. Move the electrical feed and replace the generator with a new generator. According to Ring Power and Generac, the generators currently have a 30 45 weeks lead time, due to no fuel tanks (bellies) being available. Lift the transformer and move to pole so that it is elevated. The current problem is that it is too low, and at risk of flooding in severe weather. There is an existing generator on site that is a 500 KW generator. Contractor is responsible for the proper removal and disposal of all trash, and debris.
