Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hamilton, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Subject to the right of the Owner to reject any or all bids, the Owner will award contracts to the bidder(s) submitting the lowest and best responsible bid(s). The improvement of approximately 1,300 feet of New London Rd. Includes the widening of New London Rd on the north side to accommodate a left turn lane for eastbound New London Rd traffic at W. Fairway Dr. Also, construction of a cellular retaining wall, walk, curb, curb ramps, storm improvements and relocation of a rectangular rapid flashing beacon. A DBE goal of 8% will be used and a DBE utilization/form will be submitted electronically to ODOT Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the form of either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the bid (including all add alternates) or a certified check, cashier s check, or an irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the bid (including all add alternates), as described in the Instructions to Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw its bid within sixty (60) days after the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities in bids, to reject any or all bids, and to conduct such investigation as necessary to determine the lowest and best responsible bidder(s).
