Renovation of a water / sewer project in McKeesport, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
BUDGET: $100,000 PROJECT: Liberty Pump Station Replacement Item includes the costs to establish bypass pumping around the pump station for the duration of the work. Bypass pumping will need to be from one manhole upstream of the pump station (LB501) to the discharge manhole of the force main (PLG012) at Latrobe Way, over 2,000 ft. The contractor shall be responsible for maintaining this system on a 24-hour basis and will be responsible for all cleanup costs caused by any backup within the system higher than the building wye, which impedes flow. The contractor shall pay for all cleanup costs caused by any leakage in the bypass system and pay any fine accessed. Relocation of New Pump Station Item includes the cost to pick up and deliver to the site, the existing pump station from 2825 Washington Boulevard, McKeesport, PA 15133. The contractor will need to coordinate with property owner Mr. Shane Lawson at 412-719-5994 for access times.
