**As of December 15,2023 project was awarded to Oxford Construction Company, awarded amount is $5,032,661.75.** The Lee County Board of Commissioners is accepting sealed written bids from qualified contractors for road resurfacing services for the following 39 roads in Lee County: Argyll Place, Aylesbury Place, Berkeley Road, Cambridge Road, Carillon Court, Carowinds Drive, Chokee Road, Coosaw Court, Country Drive, Creek Isle Drive, Creekshire Court, Creekview Drive, Danbury Lane, Doris Drive, Foxworth Drive, Halifax Place, Huntingdon Drive, Johns Drive, Knollwood Drive, Lavender Lane, Longleaf Drive, Margate Drive, Marion Court, Midway Street, Morning Mist Drive, Muckalee Lane, New York Road, Pebble Ridge Drive, Pineview Drive, Pinewood Road, Red Bay Court, Springlake Drive, Towne Lane, Victorian Court, Village Lane, Warrington Road, Willard Court, Winnstead Drive, and Wiregrass Way. In general, these roads are to be patched as directed by Engineer, leveled with 85 lbs/sy of 9.5 mm asphalt and topped with 135 lbs/sy overlay or milled down to a specified depth and resurfaced with 165 lbs/sy of 9.5 mm overlay along with high build traffic striping, rumble strips, stop bars, shoulder grading and other misc. items pertaining to the project. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the bid opening. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids received and/or disregard informalities or irregularities in the Bids received.
