The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) seeks to contract for services for handling, removal, and final disposal of laboratory waste from TCEQ facilities, primarily the TCEQ Monitoring Division laboratories and Water Quality Planning Division (WQPD) laboratory in Austin, Texas, and the WQPD laboratory in Sugar Land, Texas. TCEQ anticipates the laboratory waste generated by the facilities will be non-industrial; however, the Contractor will be responsible for the disposal of all waste identified in Work Orders under this contract, potentially including industrial laboratory waste. Class/Item Code(s): 92645-Hazardous Material And Waste Services (Including Emergency Response And Nuclear Wastes) The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) seeks to contract for services for handling, removal, and final disposal of laboratory waste from TCEQ facilities, primarily the TCEQ Monitoring Division laboratories and Water Quality Planning Division (WQPD) laboratory in Austin, Texas, and the WQPD laboratory in Sugar Land, Texas. TCEQ anticipates the laboratory waste generated by the facilities will be non-industrial; however, the Contractor will be responsible for the disposal of all waste identified in Work Orders under this contract, potentially including industrial laboratory waste. The contract will commence on September 1, 2023, or the date of last Contract signature, whichever is later, and continue through August 31, 2024, with an option to renew for three (3) additional years.\ Pre-Proposal Conference: No Pre-Proposal Conference is scheduled for this solicitation. Deliver questions in writing by the due date on the Cover Page to the TCEQ Procurements and Contracts Representative by e-mail. It is preferred to receive questions by e-mail to document proof of delivery date and time. Please include the following in the Subject line of the email: Solicitation Name, Solicitation Number, and the Due Date for Responses. TCEQ has sole discretion as to whether to respond to questions. The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) reserves the right to accept or reject all or any part of the bid, waive minor technicalities, and award the bid to best serve the interest of the State. The lowest bid may not necessarily be selected. The qualifications of the company and its demonstrated ability to comply with the Scope of Work will be important in the award of the contract. Also, qualifications will include demonstrated effectiveness in past performance of similar projects.
