The Contractor is required to provide all necessary materials, supervision, labour, plant, tools, equipment, permits (gas, plumbing and all other related), insurance, overhead, transportation, and all the incidentals required for the following: 1. Demolition and removal of the existing old Lars boiler and associated materials to facilitate the installation of the two new boilers, 2. Installation of two (2) new IBC iFire 1000B condensing pool boilers including related racking, housekeeping pads, buffer tanks, required (2 or more) pumps, any combustion vents, any flue vents, new boiler and gas piping to hookup new system including but not limited to works related to mechanical, plumbing, electrical, structural modifications, commissioning. 3. Insulate all altered system piping, 4. Seismic restrain of new installation, 5. Installation of electrical, 6. Hookup to existing Reliable DDC system including altering existing points and the allowance for the installation of 6 new points and upgrade of the graphics to reflex new equipment and systems, and 7. All proposed Works to be designed and validated by a EGBC Professional Mechanical Engineer complete with signed and sealed certification shop and mechanical drawings to the new system. The current pool heating is provided by a temporary boiler system and the new boilers will be cut over to replace the temporary boilers in the shortest shutdown possible once the new boiler is ready for operation.
