Site work for a water / sewer project in Florissant, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

**As of December 14, 2023, project was awarded to Neumayer Equipment in the total amount of $437,387.18.** The Hazelwood School District (HSD) is seeking bids for fuel tank removal and installation. Item 1 - Tank Removal Scope of Work The HSD has 3 underground fuel tanks to be removed. Proposer shall: 1. Apply for all necessary permits through the local regulating authorities and with MoDNR. There are two (2) 8,000-gallon steel underground tanks on the top lot and one (1) 8,000 gallon fiberglass underground tank. 2. Apply for 30-day MoDNR Closure Notice on all tanks. 3. Test ground water to determine if it can be pumped out per Metropolitan Sewer Discharge parameters. *Alternate 1: Fees for pumping and discharge of ground water if necessary. Bidder to provide six (6) drums for storage and disposal of any remaining sludge or fuel. Any additional drums required to be pre-approved and billed via change order. * Alternate 2: Price per additional drum for sludge/fuel removal. 4. Blow back the lines from the dispensers to the tanks on the top lot. The tank at the bottom lot is only for storage and there are no dispensers. Remove the dispensers and any related equipment on the island. Unless directed to retain the existing dispensers, remove all equipment and dispose of it properly. 5. Break out pavement as required to expose the tanks and fuel product piping. Stage spoils at a designated area and place on plastic sheeting, cover pending soil sample results. 6. Remove and dispose of the tank and piping. Collect soil samples as required for testing and closeout reports. 7. Upon receiving soil test results, backfill to grade with excavated spoils and then fill balance of the tank pit with new clean rock. Compact all backfill and subgrade to 10'' below finished grade. Trim and clean all concrete edges. *Alternate 3: Provide pricing for fill soil if sample results don't allow re-use. * Alternate 4: Provide pricing if soil must be disposed of separately. 8. Alternate 5: Provide asphalt to repatch all excavated areas on both the top and bottom lots. 9. Complete all required paperwork and closeout documentation for customer to submit to MoDNR. Item 2 - Tank Installation Proposer shall: 1. Apply for all necessary permits through the local fire and mechanical regulating authorities. 2. Trench from the corner of the building to the location of the new tank pad. Pour a tank pad approximately 40' x 30'- 8" thick at location approved by district. Furnish and install twenty-four (24) pipe bollards that will be set in the tank pad for tank protection. 3. Furnish and install all required conduit and wiring from the panel inside the shop to the tank pad before the pad is poured. This should consist of power wire for all pumps, dispensers and light pole. Communication wiring to be in a separate conduit for the PV200 fuel management system. 1 Spare conduit should be installed for any future need. 4. Furnish and install one (1) 15,000 gallon UL 2085 double wall diesel tank. Equip the tank with an interstitial leak gauge, emergency vents for the interstitial space and main tank, atmospheric vent, decals and OPW site level gauge. The tank should have a remote spill package installed on the tank with overfill protection. The tank is to be equipped with a staircase and platform. Furnish and install one (1) 2HP Redjacket subunit, solenoid valve and Isotrol control box. 5. Furnish and install one (1) High flow 9850 Gasboy double hose diesel dispenser with 10' hose, high hose retractor and pump porch pedestal. Furnish and install one (1) Lincoln 1" x 50' diesel hose reel on the platform on the tank. 6. Furnish and install 2" carbon steel piping from the solenoid valve to the dispenser and the hose reel. Tee the product line and make connections to both dispense points. 7. Furnish and install two (2) 1,000 gallon UL 2085 double wall gas tanks. Equip each tank with an interstitial leak gauge, emergency vents for the interstitial space and main tank, pressure/ vacuum atmospheric vent, decals and OPW site level gauge. The tank should have a remote spill package installed on the tank with overfill protection. 8. Furnish and install one (1) one 9853 Suction pump dispenser with 10' hose and high hose retractor and pump porch pedestal for fuel. Run 1.5" carbon steel piping from each 1000 gallon tank and "T" it behind the dispenser with ball valves to control which tank the fuel comes from. 9. Furnish and install one (1) PV200 fuel management system with Phoenix software to be downloaded and installed by bidder. Mount the pedestal between the dispensers and make communication connections to each of the dispensers. *This will not monitor the fuel going into the fuel truck. 10. Make all electrical and piping connections and flush dispensers. Ensure there are no leaks. 11. Test system for proper operation and rain staff on use. Question Deadline - 11/15/2023 at 12:00 PM CT. Any items requiring clarification will be distributed to all known vendors. The Hazelwood School District is not responsible for late or incorrect deliveries. The Hazelwood School District reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids. Once the Hazelwood School District has awarded the Bid, the Bid Submission will represent as the contractual agreement unless otherwise communicated. The Hazelwood School District has established a Supplier Diversity Program to provide opportunities for the meaningful participation of Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) and Women Business Enterprises (WBEs) in purchases made by the District. To this end the District has set goals for participation on all construction projects of 25% for MBEs and 5% for WBEs. The Supplier Diversity Program also encourages its business partners to strive for a workforce goal of twenty five percent (25%) minority and five percent (5%) women. The District may reject any and all bids that do not meet its program goals. The School District reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive informalities therein to determine the lowest and best bid, and to approve the Bond. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days subsequent to the specified time for receipt of bids.
