The contracting office is the Public Works Department. The location of the project is in the County of Los Alamos, New Mexico. The summary of work is as follows, but is not limited to the following: Project includes both electrical and process mechanical improvements at the County's Pajarito, Guaje, and Otowi well fields (11 sites in total). Work includes, but is not limited to: o Electrical equipment and instrumentation replacement; o New well motor starters; o Transformer testing / maintenance; o Lightning protection system repairs; o Selected valve and flow meter replacement; o Hydraulic control valve rehabilitation; o Valve / piping recoating; o Replacement of two (2) valve vaults; o And construction of two (2) new valve vaults with associated valves and yard piping connections. * Work at Pajarito Well No. 3 will be bid as Additive Alternate No. 1. * Work at Otowi Well No. 1 will be bid as Additive Alternate No. 2. * Work at Pajarito Well No. 4 will be bid as Additive Alternate No. 3 Question Deadline 02/07/2024 Requests for interpretation must be received at least six (6) working days (Monday-Friday) prior by 5:00 p.m. to the date fixed for the opening of bids.
