Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ames, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
This project includes, but is not limited to, removal of existing PCC pavement, new PCC pavement with PCC curb and gutter, PCC sidewalks, adjusting storm sewer structures, pavement striping, and finish grading. Questions regarding the scope of work should be directed to the Design Professional. Bid security shall be agreed upon as the measure of liquidated damages which the Owner will sustain by failure, neglect or refusal of bidder to deliver a signed contract stipulating performance of the Work in unqualified compliance with Contract Documents. Successful bidder will be required to furnish a Contract Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract sum within ten (10) days after receipt of Notice of Award.
