Site work and paving for a civil project in Ames, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a water / sewer project; and road / highway.
The project consists of, but is not limited to, demolition of existing parking lots A3 (previous A1/A2), B3 (previous B1/B2), C3 (previous C1/C2) and adjacent drives, soil import, grading, installation of underground utilities (including sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water main, electric and communications), subgrade preparation, PCC paving, HMA paving, parking lot lighting and surface restoration. Questions regarding the scope of work should be directed to the Design Professional. The Board of Regents, State of Iowa seeks to provide opportunities for Targeted Small Businesses in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 73 of the Code of Iowa. This project has a participation goal of 10% for certified Targeted Small Businesses as specified in the Project Requirements. The Board of Regents, State of Iowa, reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and to accept that bid which is deemed in the best interest of the Owner.
