This project includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of the existing roof systems at roof sections C, D, G, X, and W. All existing ballast, membranes, flashings, fiberboards, and insulation will be removed and replaced with a new, fully adhered, EPDM roof system with new insulation below. The new roof system is designed to have a minimum useful life expectancy of 30 years. New walk pads and appropriate safety equipment will also be included to meet university standards. The existing termination bar sealant at the perimeter of roof section D as well as the asphalt layer beneath roof sections X and W contain asbestos and will be properly abated. Bid Estimate: $507,210.00 Project Information: Substantial Completion: November 1, 2024 Final Completion: December 31, 2024 Bid security shall be agreed upon as the measure of liquidated damages which the Owner will sustain by failure, neglect or refusal of bidder to deliver a signed contract stipulating performance of the Work in unqualified compliance with Contract Documents. Successful bidder will be required to furnish a Contract Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract sum within ten (10) days after receipt of Notice of Award. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 45 calendar days after the date of opening.
