The City of Arlington Water Utilities Department desires to obtain your firm's contact information and qualifications to complete engineering design and construction-phase services for the New York 2.5 Million Gallon (MG) Elevated Storage Tank (EST). The City of Arlington has determined that the storage capacity of the new elevated storage tank shall be 2.5 MG. The new EST will be located at 2001 New York Avenue and will share a site with the existing East Arlington Police Services Centre A location map is attached to the RFQ for reference. The City of Arlington requires engineering services to complete detailed design and construction-phase services for the New York 2.5 Million Gallon (MG) Elevated Storage Tank (EST). The New York 2.5 MG EST will be located at 2001 New York Avenue and will share a site with the East Arlington Police Services Center. The site is approximately 1.3 acres in size with adjacent development. The City has determined that the storage capacity of the new elevated storage tower shall be 2.5 MG. The EST will be approximately 135 feet tall with a desired bowl depth of 30 to 40 feet with 30 feet being the optimal bowl depth. The City prefers a composite tank type. The City previously extended a 20-inch water main and sanitary sewer service to the tank site. The City reserves the right to retain all responses and to use any ideas included in a response regardless of whether that response is selected. Submission of a response indicates acceptance by the firm of the conditions contained in this request for qualifications (RFQ), unless clearly and specifically noted in the response and confirmed in the contract between the City and the firm selected.
