This RFP is for Classroom, Office, and Cafeteria Furniture pertaining to Bailey Jr. High & Arlington High School, as well as smaller bond projects during the 2024-2025 school year. Question Cutoff Date: 12/6/2023 02:00 PM (CT) Any questions regarding procurement or this bid should be submitted in writing via the electronic bidding system This contract will be effective for 18 months from date of Board approval. AISD reservesthe right to bid separately any single purchase over the amount of $25,000. The District reserves the right to enforce the performance of this contract in any manner prescribed by law or deemed to be in the best interest of the District in the event of breach or default of this contract. The District reserves the right to terminate the contract immediately in the event the successful proposer fails to meet schedules or otherwise perform in accordance with these specifications. Breach of contract or default authorizes the District to purchase the services from the next low bidder or elsewhere, and charge the full increase in cost to the defaulting successful bidder. Delivery must be completed within the time frame noted above (July 2024 - August 2025), unless notified by AISD Purchasing in writing. The District may retain the sum of $500.00 for liquidated damages, and not as a penalty, for each calendar day after the date the delivery is to be received.
