The Contractor shall provide all material, labor, parts, equipment, tools, facilities, transportation, and supervision to make alternations, repairs, and modifications to the Elevator at the Houston Regional Office, 6900 Almeda Road, Houston, TX 77030. All work shall be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work and the terms and conditions set forth herein. Contractor shall provide all manpower, tools, equipment, and material to refurbish two (2) elevators at the VBA Regional Office in Houston, TX - Construction shall be in accordance with OSHA, Federal, State, and Local codes and/or requirements. - Construction Wage Determination for Harris County TX is applicable. - This requirement is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) capable of meeting the requirement set forth in this solicitation. - This requirement is a Total SDVOSB set-aside in accordance with Public Law 109-461, Veterans First Program. Only quotes from SDVOSB concerns that are registered and verified by Veteran Small Business Certification website at sba.gov shall be considered for award. Quotes from contractors that are not registered in Small Business Administration shall be rejected as non-responsive and shall not be considered for award. - NAICS - 238290 Other Building Equipment Contractors - Construction Range of Magnitude (FAR 36.204) is estimated to be between $ 100,000.00 to $250,000.00. - Bid Bond and Payment Bond are required for this project. - Certificate of Insurance indicating the contractor possesses the required general liability and workman's compensation insurance is required. The contractor shall furnish a Certificate of insurance at the time of quote submission. - The site visits will be conducted for individual vendors upon request (See SOW for details at: VBA Houston Regional Office 6900 Almeda Road Houston, TX 77030 All questions pertaining to this or site visit shall be submitted via email to debra.rollins@va.gov no later than 3:00 PM CST on November 28, 2023. Questions will be collated. Answers will be published via amendments to the solicitation. The period of performance for this contract is 120 days after date of award. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
