Renovation of a library in Harper, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
The contractor shall supply all labor, material, supervision and equipment necessary to complete the project. All work shall be in accordance with contract documents, specifications and drawings, and all relevant codes, regulations and requirements as deemed necessary by the City. PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS Remove existing gutter and door awning. Post may be 3" square tubing, post to center on 8"2" centers #10 post, fasten to concrete. Roof and soffit sheet must be 3' x 6'; brown to match existing building. Framing inside of awning can be steel or wood. Be sure to specify in the bid. For steel - must be supported with 3" angle iron; 2" square tubing welded in place with C-purlin to support sheeting. Each end must also be covered with wood. 2x6 beams to support front main beam, 2x4 on truss, 1x4 for purlin; each end must be covered. The north wall is 10' tall. Bottom end of awning must have an 8' clearance. Approximate 2' slope. Roof must be sealed to the north wall to stop any water. All 3" posts must be painted to match roof. Must have trim on corners and rate to match building. Submit a certificate of liability insurance. The Contractor will need to name the City as additional insured and meet the following liability limits if awarded the service contract: $1,000,000 personal injury; $1,000,000 aggregate coverage. Workers Compensation - Statutory Limits (If Applicable) If there are no employees, must complete the Workers Compensation Waiver.
