Site work and paving for a road / highway in Tiffin, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The scope of work consists of the planing and resurfacing of US 224 from the intersection of SR-18 (W Market St) to approximately 1,000 feet east of St. Lawrence Drive, including spot full depth repairs and pavement markings. A certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit in favor of the City of Tiffin, in the amount of 10% of the bid. If the contract is awarded, a Contract Bond will be required, which is a 100% payment and performance bond. The engineer's opinion of probable cost of construction for the base bid is $516,000.00. Contractor Questions Due: Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. All questions shall be submitted through a company email request to Matt Watson, PE, PS - City Engineer at the following email address: mwatson@tiffinohio.gov. Project Start: August 15, 2025. Completion Date: December 31, 2025. The City of Tiffin reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive the irregularity in any bid and to determine the lowest and best bidder.
