Site work for a water / sewer project in Wantagh, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

CR Number:2103766 Project is to rehabilitate Well #2 at Jones Beach State Park per project drawings and specifications. Work consists of removal and replacement to the existing well pump and motor, television inspection of the well condition, clean the well and air lift debris, raise well base, re-route well casing, install new multi-stage pumping unit, column piping, discharge head with new 100HP well pump motor and feeders. Work also includes removal of existing and new installation of interior mechanical piping, treatment system, floor framing, motor starter, unit heater, circuit control and new radio communication, remote control and monitoring system. The completion date for this project is 200 days after agreement has been approved by the NYS Comptrollers Office. The Contract D number should be clearly marked in the subject line of your email, along with the words BID SUBMISSION. Each bid must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be accompanied by a scanned Bid Security in the form of a certified check, bank check, or bid bond in the amount of: $33,695.00 The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond/Payment Bond in the statutory form of public bonds required by Sections 136 and 137 of the State Finance Law, each for 100% of the amount of the Contract. If more than one responsible and reliable MWBE firm meets the requirements, the MWBE firm with lowest bid will be deemed the apparent low bidder. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and a general description of the primary work elements is listed below for reference. Contractor is responsible for reviewing all the drawings and specifications to obtain a complete understanding of the entire work scope. The work includes all work indicated on the project documents, including but not limited to: 5. Furnish all labor, equipment, materials, tools, means, methods, and incidentals necessary to complete the Work as required by the Contract Documents for this Construction Contract. 6. Construction barriers and other security measures such as Maintenance and Protection of Traffic Measures. 7. Temporary Facilities and Controls. 8. Demonstrate startup and testing keeps with contract requirements. 9. Project closeout submittals. 10. All other requirements shown on the plans or included in the specifications.
