Renovation of a library in Worcester, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 1,854-square-foot library.

Carpet Replacement Goddard Branch Library A certified check or bid bond made payable to the City Treasurer, City of Worcester in the Amount of $ None must accompany this bid. A payment bond in the amount of $50% of the total dollar award is required if total bid price if greater than $ 25,000.00 Questions pertaining to this bid must be directed to: Christopher Gagliastro via email at gagliastroc@worcesterma.gov The Bidder must certify that no official or employee of the City of Worcester, Massachusetts is pecuniary interested in this proposal or in the contract which the bidder offers to execute or in expected profits to arise therefrom, unless there has been compliance with provisions of G.L.C.43 Sec. 27, and that this bid is made in good faith without fraud or collusion or connection with any other person submitting a proposal. The City of Worcester reserves the right to reject any and all bids, wholly or in part, and to make awards in a manner deemed in the best interest of the City. Contractor to supply the City of Worcester with certificates of insurance evidencing general liability coverage of not less than $ 1,000,000.00 per occurrence / $ 2,000,000.00 aggregate. All City of Worcester bids are available for downloading from the City of Worcester website with no required registration process. As a result, the City accepts no responsibility for the accuracy of plan holder lists issued. Question Deadline 12/31/2023 The Goddard Branch Library has carpet that needs replacement in the following areas: Public floor of the library only (approximately 1,854 square ft.) to be measured by contractor. A. Remove and properly dispose existing carpet. Install the new flooring, color TBD according to manufacturer's specifications, as well as any leveling and prep work, which may be needed. B. Remove existing vinyl base and replace with new vinyl base equal size color TBD. C. Move all floor shelving and reinstall. (Books will be removed by library). D. Move all existing furniture and put back after installation. (The furniture can be moved from side to side, or out in to the hallway as the school is closed for vacation).
