The Lawrence County Engineer acting on behalf of Lawrence County, Ohio intends to contract for engineering and surveying services in connection with the various highway and bridge projects, including but not limited to safety studies, bridge load ratings, geotechnical engineering, roadway design, bridge design, surveying or any prequalification categories listed in the current edition of ODOTs Consultant Prequalification Requirements and Procedures Manual. Statements of qualifications should include information regarding the firms history; education and experience of owners and key technical personnel; the technical expertise of the firms current staff; any ODOT prequalification, the firms experience in performing engineering studies, design, construction administration and construction observation; availability of staff; references; and any previous work performed for Lawrence County or Counties of similar size in Ohio. Upon receipt of the Statement of Qualifications, it is the intent of the Lawrence County Engineer to prepare a list of prequalified firms to provide engineering and surveying services for projects under $50,000 in accordance with ORC 153.68and 153.71(A)(1). Evaluation of firms for inclusion on the prequalified list and notification and evaluation of prequalified firms for specific projects will be as required by Ohio Revised Code 153.65-73. While Statement of Qualifications will be accepted at anytime, firms interested in work for 2024 should provide their statements by the time and date listed above. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
