The project is expected to be awarded on January 9, 2024.** The Scope of Work for this RFP shall include, but not limited to the following Construction Services: 1. Provide constructability analysis with particular attention to the schedule and budget and evaluate materials and methods to assist the District with identifying cost savings measures. 2. Prepare preliminary and detailed estimates of project costs. 3. Development of detailed construction critical path project schedule and campus considerations. 4. Attend meetings as necessary. The Elk Grove Unified School District ("District") is issuing this RFQ/P to select a General Contractor (holding a Class B license), to perform L/LB construction services for the Project in accordance with the L/LB structure set forth in Education Code Section 17406 et seq. Qualified firms ("Firms") shall have extensive K-12 school construction experience as well as experience with the Uniform Building Code ("UBC"), and Title 24 of the California Code of Regulations. This RFQ/P consists of two parts: The Statement of Qualifications (SOQ), and Fee Proposal, and proposers are required to submit both parts to be considered for this Project. The District will review and score qualifications first and fee proposals of those contractors whose qualifications are acceptable. To facilitate the review and scoring, fee proposals must be submitted as a separate file. The estimated total construction cost/budget for the Project is $9,000,000. Construction duration is asfollows: Anna Kirchgater ES (Modified Traditional) - 58 calendar days (June 7 - August 4, 2024) Elitha Donner ES (Year-Round) - 217 calendar days (May 28 - December 31, 2024) David Reese ES (Year-Round) - 276 calendar days (May 28, 2024 - February 28, 2025) The District will not be responsible for any errors in the RFQ/P and reserves the right to reject any and all SOQ/P, to waive any irregularities or informalities in the SOQ/P, and to request further information.
