Renovation of a fire / police facility in Georgetown, Colorado. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

Clear Creek County is seeking bids from qualified professional vendors for the demolition of four existing inmate shower stalls, recommendations and pricing for four new ADA-compliant shower stalls and development of cost estimates for design and construction. The qualified vendor must show possession of skills necessary to maintain and improve effectiveness, enhance its quality of services, minimize down time and support costs, and ensure security and safety controls at all times. The purpose of this Request-for-Bid is to obtain relevant information, credentials, qualifications, experience and a proposed Project Approach from interested Firms to inform the Board for selection of a consultant to inspect, design, engineer, cost estimate, and provide construction oversight for the installation of four new ADA-compliant inmate shower stalls. Scope of Services Four Inmate ADA-Compliant Shower Stalls Experience and knowledge of confinement center security and construction requirements for restroom facilities. Presentation to Sheriff's Office leadership of proposed shower design and installation plan. Structural engineering, as needed, to ensure an effective and safe facility for staff and inmates. Project management: Provide complete project management support inclusive of OAC meetings, coordination, project administration, scheduling, budgeting, design review and closeout. Comply with all insurance requirements in accordance with Clear Creek County standards. Include an Owner's reserve and contingency amount to be controlled by Clear Creek County; each shall be 10% of the total GMP. Secure all permitting for the completion of the project. Provide final as-built survey, specs, and if necessary, CAD files for Clear Creek County's records. Needed demolition and waste disposal of existing structure. All structural and non-structural framing materials. Final installation. Cost estimates. Construction and construction administration. Question & Answer Period Begins January 31, 2024 Question & Answer Period Ends February 11, 2024 Anticipated Award Date After February 26, 2024 Expected Period of Contract: A contract beginning in January of 2024, and construction completion by June 1, 2024. The County reserves the right to reject any and all Responses and to waive any informality, technical defects or clerical errors in any Reponses as the best interest of the County may require. Selection procedures will be conducted in conformance with all applicable qualifications-based selection requirements.
