Demolition and site work for a residential development in Cincinnati, Ohio. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
Demolition: Sale and Razing of 3704 Cass. This specification covers the sale and razing and/or the sale and moving of buildings and structures together with all attachments located on the premises Furnish all necessary labor, tools, equipment, appliances and facilities to move or raze the buildings or structures, as specified, together with all attachments located on the premises, including all required backfill and restoration. Unless waived under the conditions stated, all bids must be accompanied by a bid bond, deposit of cash, or certified check, bank cashier's or bank official's check, drawn on a solvent bank, payable to the Treasurer of the City of Cincinnati in the amount determined by the City as stated in the legal advertisement (see cover page), as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into. A bid bond is NOT required; however, a performance bond for 100% of the contract value is required. Bid amounts shall include 100% performance surety, labor, material, equipment, tools, safety equipment, insurance, workers compensation overhead, profit, all permits and permit surcharges The contractor shall start work within fifteen (15) calendar days from receipt of written notice to begin work, by registered or certified mail, from the City Agency for whom the work is to be performed. The amount of liquidated damages to be paid by the contractor for each and every working day that he is in default is $200.00 The contractor shall secure delivery of all equipment and materials required and shall complete on site work within 30 calendar days from receipt of notice to begin work. Questions or requests for additional information regarding this solicitation shall be directed in writing to the assigned City of Cincinnati Buyer, Shannon Brower via email at Shannon.Brower@cincinnati-oh.gov. State of Ohio prevailing wage rates shall not apply for all Contractors on this project. If a Schedule of Prevailing Rates of Wages is included in the bid and contract documents, submit weekly to the Prevailing Wage Coordinator, Department of Community Development, Contract Compliance Division, 805 Central Avenue, Suite 234, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202, an original certified copy of all payrolls of the Contractor and of any Subcontractors. The City reserves the right to waive informalities not inconsistent with law or to reject any or all bids
