Total Construction Cost Estimate (Base Bid) is $1,461,100 BIDDING LIMITED TO: Contractors Prequalified by DAS for General Building Construction (Group C) Prevailing Wages: This is a Prevailing Wages Project Set-Aside Requirements: SBE Subcontractors &/or Suppliers: 25%; MBE Subcontractors &/or Suppliers: 6.25% Contract Time Allowed: Calendar Days: 240 Liquidated Damages: $ 2,347.00 Per Calendar Day Beyond Substantial Completion. $ 1,727.00 Per Calendar Day Beyond 90 days After Substantial Completion. All Project Questions, Bid Questions, and Pre-Bid Equals and Substitution Requests must be submitted fourteen (14) Calendar Days prior to the Bid Due Date. Each contractor who is awarded a contract on or after October 1, 2002 shall be subject to provisions of C.G.S. 31-55a concerning annual adjustments to prevailing wages.
